Samenvatting:
Erica is aan het werk met rapporten in de controlekamer als Jenny binnenkomt om zich voor t bereiden op personeelsevaluaties. Erica heeft in het verleden nooit rapporten gedaan en ze leest eindelijk Kyles rapport over de Galbreth zaak.
In een huis diep in het bos vertelt een hulpje tegen Mobius dat Jenny betrapt werd voor ze toegang kon krijgen tot vertrouwelijke informatie. Starr vertelt Mobius dat hij haar al lang geleden bij TKR had moeten laten binnendringen. Mobius vertelt haar dat als Jenny eenmaal opgesloten is ze veel makkelijker te bereiken is voor hen.

Jenny vertelt tegen het bestuur dat ze een paar jaar geleden, terwijl ze nog bij de Marine zat, ontdekte dat ze geadopteerd was. Ze denkt dat haar vader een politieagent uit Las Vegas is, genaamd Michael Long, die zich in het geheim bij de Foundation heeft aangesloten. Jenny geeft toe dat ze de bestanden heeft opgevraagd, maar ze houdt vol dat ze nooit kopieen aan wie dan ook gegeven heeft. Jenny wordt schuldig bevonden aan verraad en bestraft met een levenslange gevangenisstraf zonder mogelijkheid van vervroegde vrijlating.

Trek bekijkt de gestolen bestanden van FLAG en bepaalt dat het zeker Jenny was die ze bekeken heeft. Daarnaast nam ze, telkens nadat ze de computer gebruikt had, een vrije middag in verband met tandproblemen. Ondanks het bewijs tegen haar, probeert het team haar naam te zuiveren. Kyle pleit bij zijn superieuren om Jenny te laten gaan, maar ze weigeren. Erica vraagt Kyle wat ze gaan doen, hij vertelt haar dat het volgens de regels zal moeten, maar Erica is niet tevreden. Ze keert terug naar haar kamer, waar een schaduwachtig figuur haar een kaart overhandigd met daarop aangegeven de route van de gevangenentransportbus van Jenny. Hij vertelt haar dat hij zijn redenen heeft om dit te doen.

Erica neemt Beast om Jenny te redden en Beast is maar al te graag bereid om te helpen. Erica probeert de voorband van de bus op te blazen met een kleine raket. Maar het gaat niet helemaal zoals gepland en de hele bus ontploft. Erica trekt Jenny uit het wrak en ze rennen ervan door. Beast leid de politie weg om hen te helpen ontsnappen.

Trek ontdekt dat Jenny misschien voor Mobius heeft gespioneerd zonder het zelf te weten, door een neuro optische datachip recorder in haar hoofd. Kyle rapporteert de theorie aan zijn baas, die daarop de order geeft om Jenny te doden. De informatie op de chip kan FLAG vernietigen als Mobius ze in handen krijgt. Ondertussen begint Jenny te denken dat de tandarts er misschien ook wel mee te maken kan hebben. Zij en Erica gaan naar zijn kantoor. Al dat rennen vergt teveel van Erica, die begint te schreeuwen tegen Jenny. Erica verontschuldigd zich omdat ze niet zo sterk is als Jenny en omdat ze het ontsnappingsplan niet ver genoeg doorgedacht heeft, maar ze geeft teveel om Jenny om haar in de gevangenis te laten zitten.

Jenny en Erica komen aan bij het tandartskantoor en de receptionist vertelt hen dat Dr Greene op vakantie is. Als Jenny aandringt om precies te weten waar hij zit wordt de receptionist vervelend en belanden ze in een gevecht. Jenny wint en het wordt Erica duidelijk dat het hele kantoor nep was. Ze stelen een auto en rijden naar Mobius huis, terwijl Duke en Kyle aankomen bij het kantoor.

Jenny en Erica worden gevangen genomen zodra ze bij het huis aankomen en Mobius begint de informatie uit de chip van Jenny te halen. Erica slaagt erin om met behulp van een paperclip haar boeien te openen en slaat Starr neer. Mobius laat een gasbom afgaan en hij en Starr ontsnappen. Duke en Kyle komen aan bij het huis. Jenny vertelt hen dat Mobius weg is, maar dat hij zijn computer met alle informatie heeft achtergelaten.

Erica gaat naar Kyle bereid om haar uniform in te leveren en ontslag te nemen van TKR. Kyle vertelt haar het niet te doen, tenzij haar hart het wil. Erica vertelt hem over de schaduwachtige figuur.

Kyle zoekt Jenny op in de controle kamer. Ze vertelt hem dat ze, ondanks dat ze van alle beschuldigingen is vrijgesproken, ze altijd met de schande van het proces zal moeten leven. Kyle geeft Jenny een verontschuldiging van FLAG, uitdraaien van alle Foundation bestanden over Michael Long.

 

Jenny (Christine Steel) is charged with treason when she's linked to some stolen files, and the team must rally to prove her innocence before she spends the rest of her life in prison. Kyle: Brixton Karnes. Erica: Kathy Trageser.

Plot Summary:

Erica is working on case reports in the situation room and Jenny comes in to prepare for crew evaluations. Erica hasn't done case reports in the past, and she finally read Kyles report on the Galbreth case ('Inside Traitor'). Erica learns that Jenny really stuck out her neck for Erica, and she awkwardly thanks Jenny. Erica leaves to get a sandwhich, and Jenny tries to gain access to files on Michael Knight. As she gets the files, FLAG agents come aboard SkyOne with a warrant for Jenny's arrest.

Jenny is brought before a tribunal for charges of treason, lead by Miss Barrett. TKR's arch-enenmy has managed to always stay one step ahead of the team, and FLAG suspects it was a team member giving him information. In an attempt to catch the traitor, they placed some false files in the FLAG computers to see who would access them; Jenny did. Kyle stands by Jenny during the trial, stating that she is the most loyal person he has ever known. Miss Barrett tells Kyle that given his family history, he should know to be wary of exemplary agents.

Duke, Trek and Erica wait outside the room while Kyle and Jenny speak to the board of inquiry. Trek suggests that they break into FLAG's computer room to get some answers. Trek tells Erica she'll have to use some of that "flirty sex stuff" to get them past security. Erica insists that she doesn't have to resort to flirting to do the job. She runs into the guard room claiming a man outside is having a heart attack. The guard is willing to call for help, but won't leave his post. Erica leaves and returns (with an extra button unbuttoned), and tells the guard that the man is OK but she is really shaken up the incident and just needs to be held. He hugs her, and they start kissing wildly as Duke and Trek sneak by. Trek downloads some files from the main computer hoping to find the trail of a hacker. Someone enters the computer room, but Duke throws an empty computer monitor shell over his head and they escape.

In a cabin deep in the woods, a henchman reports to Mobius that Jenny was caught before she gained access to the confidential files. Starr tells Mobius that he should have let her infiltrate TKR a long time ago. Mobius tells her that once Jenny is locked away in prison they will even easier access to her.

Jenny tells the board that a few years ago, while still a Marine, she found out she was adopted. She believes that her father may have been a Las Vegas cop named Michael Long, who may have secretly joined the Foundation. Jenny admits to having accessed the files, but maintains she never copied or gave them to anyone. Jenny is found guilty of treason, and is sentenced to a federal prison for life with no opportunity for parole.

Trek reviews the stolen files from FLAG and determines that it was definitely Jenny who accessed the files. In addition, each time she accessed the computer she took the afternoon off, claiming she had tooth problems. Despite the evidence against her, the team tries tro clear her name. Kyle pleads with his superiors to let Jenny go, but they refuse. Erica asks Kyle what they are going to do; he tells her it will have to be by the book, but Erica isn't satisfied. She returns to her room, where a shadowy figure hands her a map showing the route of Jenny's prison transport bus. He simply says he has his reasons for doing this.

Erica takes Beast to rescue Jenny, and Beast is only too happy to assist. Erica tries to blow out the front tire with a small missile. Things don't go as planned, and the entire bus explodes. Erica pulls Jenny from the wreckage, and they go on the run. Beast leads the police away to help their escape.

Trek learns that Jenny may have been spying for Mobius without her knowledge, using a neuro-optic data-chip recorder implanted in her molar. Kyle reports the theory of the data-chip to his superior, who then gives orders to kill Jenny on sight. The information in that chip could destroy FLAG if Mobius got his hands on it. Meanwhile, Jenny also begins to think that the dentist may be involved, so she and Erica head for his office. All of the running takes its toll on Erica, who starts yelling at Jenny. Erica angily apologizes for not being as tough as Jenny and for not thinking the escape plan through far enough, but she cared too much for Jenny to let her sit in prison.

Jenny and Erica arrive at the dental office and the receptionist tells them that Dr. Greene is on vacation. When Jenny insists on finding out exactly where he is, the receptionist gives her some "attitude" and soon they break out in a martial-arts fight. Jenny wins, and it's obvious to Erica that the entire office was just a front. They steal a car and drive out to Mobius' cabin, just as Duke and Kyle arrive at the office.

Jenny and Erica are captured as soon as they arrive at the cabin, and Mobius has his men begin to extract the data from Jenny's chip. Erica manages to use a paper clip to break out of her handcuffs and punches out Starr. Mobius discharges a gas bomb and he and Starr escape. Duke and Kyle arrive at the cabin. Jenny tells them that altough Mobius got away, he left behind his computer with all of the information on property holdings, bank accounts and associates.

Erica reports to Kyle prepared to hand in her uniform and resign from TKR. Kyle just tells her not to do it again... unless her heart tells her to. Erica tells him about the shadowy figure.

Kyle visits Jenny in the situation room. She tells him that although she was cleared of all charges, she will always have to live with the humiliation of the trial. Kyle gives Jenny an "apology" from FLAG- printouts of all the Foundation files on Michael Long.
