As we all know there has been a long talk of a Knight Rider movie. Even Glen Larson talked about it before he sadly passed away. What is not commonly known is that Nick Nugent, the man that gave us The Knight Rider Companion and has been a long time fan of the series, worked together with Glen Larson on the movie. Script ideas, concept drawings and so on. Great work ofcourse.

And now for the first time ever, Nick is talking about his work with Glen in a series of exclusive interviews with the site Park Your Buses. You can find part 1 here and part 2 here. All in all there will be 6 articles in total. We learn much about what the new K.I.T.T. would look like, what the story would be like and so on. A great read, and we thank Nick Nugent and Park Your Buses very much for telling us all this information. We highly advice all Knight Rider fans to read this....

From the Park Your Buses site:

"Some television ideas resonate with you so much that they become a part of you. Such is the case with me and my favorite television show Knight Rider. For those who grew up in the 80’s, they remember how cool the K.I.T.T car was and how much we all wanted to be Michael Knight, the lone crusader played by the one and only David Hasselhoff. The series ran for four seasons between 1982-1986 and became a huge hit worldwide with a strong and loyal fan following that exists even today. The series had a few spin-offs and television movies like Knight Rider 2000, Team Knight Rider and the 2008 continuation Knight Rider: The Series. Knight Rider creator, the late great Glen A. Larson, wished to make a feature film and we heard several reports for over a decade in which the film went through development hell. Will it ever be made? We don’t know that yet, but we do know one thing. One of Larson’s close associates, Nick Nugent, took time out of his busy schedule to speak to Park Your Buses exclusively about Larson’s recently unknown film project and its current status. Knight Rider fans, get ready for a wild ride. Everything you ever wanted to know will be revealed right here! So without further ado, lets get the turbine spinning and activate auto cruise to pursuit mode. It’s finally time to take a look under K.I.T.T’s newest hood!"
